CLEVELAND, Ohio — NASCAR’s Xfinity Series takes over Las Vegas Motor Speedway today (Saturday, March 3) after Ryan Blaney captured the pole for Sunday’s Monster Cup Series Pennzoil 400 Pennzoil 400 Live.

The Pennzoil 400 is Sunday at 3:30 on FOX. The Xfinity Series Boyd Gaming 300 is today, with qualifying at 1:10 p.m. and the race at 4 p.m., both on FS1. Live streaming is available on FOX Sports Go. You can get live scoring and updates all weekend at NASCAR’s Race Center Pennzoil 400 Live.

Blaney ran a fast lap of 28.200 seconds (191.489 mph) on the 1.5-mile track during Friday’s qualifying to claim the pole. Kevin Harvick was second and Kurt Busch third Pennzoil 400 Live.

Harvick picked up his first victory of the season last week in Atlanta. Blaney, Harvick, Busch and early series points leader Joey Logano are showing that Ford drivers will be tough to beat early in the season Pennzoil 400 Live.

Kyle Busch picked up the victory in Friday’s Camping World Truck Series.

Site: Las Vegas
Schedule: Saturday, practice, 12, 2:30 p.m. (FS1); Sunday, race, 3:30 p.m., FOX.
Track: Las Vegas Motor Speedway (oval, 1.5 miles).
Race distance: 400.5 miles, 267 laps.
Last year: Defending champion Martin Truex Jr. won his first race of 2017 in Las Vegas.
Last week: Kevin Harvick took first in Atlanta Pennzoil 400 Live.
Fast facts: Joey Logano leads the series with 89 points after two races. Ryan Blaney has 83 points, followed by Denny Hamlin, Harvick and Clint Bowyer. …Fords hold four of the top five spots in the standings and seven of the top 10. …Jimmie Johnson has had a rough start to 2018. The seven-time champion has finished outside the top 25 in two straight races after finishing just 10th a year ago Pennzoil 400 Live.

Race distance: 300 miles, 200 laps.
Last year: Joey Logano led 106 laps and held off Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch.
Last week: Harvick made it a sweep in Atlanta, leading 141 of 163 laps.
Fast facts: Harvick has won five times in the series at Atlanta — including four times in the last six years. Harvick first won there in 2009. … John Hunter Nemechek finished fourth in his series debut last week. Nemechek, long a force in trucks despite occasional financing woes, will run a part-time schedule this season. He’ll split races with Larson.
